The 1doc Robot Pharmacy was officially launched in a ceremony officiated by Singapore’s Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat. This electronic medicine dispensing machine (EMDM) for prescription medication represents a significant milestone for iHG. The Robot Pharmacy integrates seamlessly into electronic medical record systems, such as the National Electronic Healthcare Records (NEHR), setting new standards in accuracy and efficiency in prescription management. For high-volume clinics, this automated sorting and self-service dispensing machine streamlines medication organisation and distribution, offering significant manpower savings.
During a signing event that took place after the launch, iHG solidified a collaborative agreement with Hock Leong Enterprises (HLE) with the goal of advancing healthcare accessibility and innovation. The official partnership was sealed through a signing ceremony between iHG’s Founder & CEO, Lilian Koh, and HLE’s Director, Jason Ke, during the GovWare event. The momentous occasion was witnessed by iHG’s Chairman, Dr. Lam Pin Min, and iHG’s Board Director, Ivan Khua. This marks a significant achievement for iHG, as HLE now serves as the third-party distributor of the Robot Pharmacy to non-public sectors.
Subsequently, the 1doc Digital Twin was officially launched in a ceremony officiated by Singapore’s Senior Minister of State for National Development and Communications and Information, Tan Kiat How. This innovative healthcare solution features a “digital twin” within the 1doc app, which offers real-time lab result visualisation and health condition mapping. Leveraging machine learning and real-time monitoring features also available within the 1doc app, the 1doc Digital Twin provides individuals with holistic insights and personalised treatment pathways, empowering them to take control of their well-being.
iHG extends its gratitude to DPM Heng Swee Keat and SMS Tan Kiat How for their presence at these significant launches, highlighting the importance of these innovations for the future of healthcare in Singapore.
Furthering their commitment to accessible healthcare, iHG introduced the 1doc Capsule Clinic today, equipped with bluetooth-enabled healthcare devices from Omron. The Capsule Clinic integrates technology into patient care, offering comprehensive and personalised medical services. Pending approvals from authorities, the first Capsule Clinic is planned for installation at the Singapore Cheshire Home (SCH), serving nearly 100 severely disabled residents and day care clients. This tech-enabled HealthPost will enhance healthcare accessibility by providing medical services at SCH’s doorstep, reducing the need for time-consuming trips to the hospital and polyclinic.
